Deaf Awareness Week 2021 – what about the face masks?

There’s no getting away from the last year that face masks has been an issue for all deaf people throughout the world in this pandemic. Lip-reading, body language, expressions and more have been severely restricted for all but in particular for people with deafness and hearing loss.

That’s why we have produced a guide on deaf awareness with face masks for our Facebook page not only to spread awareness of practising good deaf awareness with face masks but to support deaf people in getting their essential communication needs met in all walks of life.
